Chapter 1: Agreement Overview
Section 1 – Contractual Relationship
This User Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “this Agreement”) is entered into between you and the legal entity that operates ReelJoy in accordance with the law, and is legally binding on both parties.
This Agreement applies to all products, software, features, and services provided by ReelJoy Any natural person who accesses or uses the aforesaid products and services is deemed a “user” or “you” under this Agreement.
In this Agreement, “ReelJoy”, “the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the lawful operator of ReelJoy.
Section 2 – Reading and Acceptance
Before using ReelJoy, please read this Agreement in its entirety, and pay special attention to the provisions concerning compensation liability, breach handling, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
If you do not agree with any provision of this Agreement, you may not access or use the services of ReelJoy
Once you enter, log in to, or actually use the Platform, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted all terms of this Agreement, and you agree to abide by them throughout your use of the services.
Section 3 – User Eligibility
Users who are under 18 years of age or who do not have full civil capacity shall read this Agreement under the accompaniment and guidance of their legal guardians, with special attention to the provisions applicable to minors.
If you fail to complete the reading or use the services in the manner described above, ReelJoy assumes no responsibility for any adverse consequences arising from subsequent registration, access, or use of the services, and reserves the right to cease providing services to the relevant user.
Chapter 2: Login, Account, and Device Usage
Section 1 – Login Methods
You may enter and use the Platform’s related products or services as a guest.
To reduce the risk of account loss, ReelJoy recommends that you use Google or other login methods recognised by the Platform.
Section 2 – Safekeeping of Account Information
Your account, password, and other login credentials shall be properly kept by you. After each session, you should log out of your account promptly.
If your account is accessed, logged into, or used without your authorisation due to your failure to take necessary protective measures, any liability and losses arising therefrom shall be borne solely by you.
ReelJoy shall not be liable for any account security incidents, privacy information leaks, or losses related thereto that are not caused by our fault.
Section 3 – Equipment and Network Charges
The mobile phones, computers, or other terminal devices required for using ReelJoy shall be prepared by you at your own expense.
Equipment costs, telephone charges, internet fees, and other related expenses shall be borne by you.
You understand that running the Platform’s products or services may occupy storage and operating resources on your terminal device and consume network bandwidth or data.
Chapter 3: Service Status and Operational Arrangements
Section 1 – Basis of Service Provision
ReelJoy provides services on an “asis” and “asavailable” basis, according to the current state of technology and operational conditions.
Although the Platform will take commercially reasonable measures to maintain service security and continuity, it cannot fully foresee or eliminate all legal, technical, or other risks.
Such risks include, but are not limited to:
Force majeure events;
Computer viruses, Trojan horses, and other malicious programs;
Hacker attacks;
Instability of software, systems, or hardware;
Service interruptions;
Data loss;
Defects or failures in thirdparty services;
Government actions;
Losses or damages caused by other similar reasons.
Section 2 – Service Adjustments
ReelJoy may modify, adjust, interrupt, suspend, or terminate services based on product, technical, security, or operational needs.
The above adjustments may apply to part of the services or to all services provided by the Platform.
Chapter 4: Personal Information Protection
Section 1 – Principles of Information Protection
Protecting users’ personal information is one of the fundamental principles followed by ReelJoy
When you log in to the Platform through other authorised methods, ReelJoy will adopt reasonably feasible security technologies and management procedures to establish a corresponding information protection system, reducing the risk of unauthorised access, use, or disclosure of personal information.
Section 2 – Viewing and Updating User Information
You may view or update the information you have submitted at any time.
Section 3 – Restrictions on Disclosure
Without your consent, ReelJoy will not provide your personal information to companies, organisations, or individuals outside the Platform, except as otherwise required by laws or regulations.
With respect to user registration information and nonpublic content, data, and other materials stored in ReelJoy’s systems, the Platform will only disclose or provide them to third parties under the following circumstances:
You have given prior authorisation to ReelJoy to disclose the relevant information;
Disclosure is required by applicable laws or regulations;
Disclosure is required by government agencies or judicial authorities;
Disclosure is necessary to protect the public interest;
Disclosure is necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of ReelJoy itself.
Section 4 – Information of Minors
ReelJoy attaches importance to the protection of minors’ personal information.
If a parent or other guardian believes that a minor child may use the Platform’s services, especially a child under the age of 10, the guardian may register an account using their own identity and independently determine whether the Platform’s products and services are suitable for that minor.
Chapter 5: Advertising and Promotional Information
Section 1 – Advertising Display
While providing services, ReelJoy may display commercial advertisements or noncommercial promotional information to users, either by itself or through authorised thirdparty advertisers.
The Platform may adjust the method and scope of advertising display according to actual circumstances, without prior notice to users.
Section 2 – Judgment of Advertisements and Transaction Liability
ReelJoy shall perform the obligations incumbent upon an advertiser in accordance with law.
You shall exercise your own judgment as to the truthfulness, reliability, and suitability of the advertisement content for transactions. Any consequences arising from your decisions based on the advertisement content shall be borne by you.
If you make purchases, transactions, or engage in other activities based on advertisements, the relevant liability shall in principle be borne by you. Except where the law explicitly requires ReelJoy to bear liability, the Platform shall not be liable for losses caused by advertisement content or related transactions.
Section 3 – Advertising in Paid Services
Your purchase of paid features or services on the Platform does not mean that the Platform will cease displaying advertisements.
Acceptance of advertisements is part of the consideration for ReelJoy to provide comprehensive services to all users. By accepting this Agreement, you acknowledge this arrangement.
Chapter 6: Paid Services and Fee Adjustments
Section 1 – Free and Paid Services
ReelJoy may provide some services free of charge and may charge fees for other services. The sums collected by the Platform are internet valueadded service fees.
Some products, content, or functions are paid services. When using such services, you shall also comply with the special terms displayed on the corresponding pages.
The Platform will explain the payment requirements on the relevant pages. If you do not agree to pay the fees, you will not be able to use the corresponding services.
Section 2 – Pricing and Billing Methods
ReelJoy has the right to determine the fee standards, charging methods, and billing models for different services.
Different services, or the same service at different stages of use, may be subject to different charging rules.
The Platform may, according to actual needs:
Adjust the prices of existing paid services;
Modify fee standards or charging rules;
Begin charging for services that were previously provided free of charge.
The Platform will give notice before such changes take effect.
New fee standards or rules become effective upon publication and form an integral part of this Agreement. If you continue to use the relevant services after the changes take effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the adjusted charging rules; if you do not agree, you may stop using the services.
Section 3 – Account Balances and Refunds
Amounts recharged into your ReelJoy account may only be used for the products and services covered by this Agreement.
Amounts already consumed or used are not refundable.
For unused balances, users may submit a refund request. After the request is reviewed and approved by the Platform, the funds will be returned in legal tender through the original payment method, with a 10% service fee deducted from the refund amount.
If the original payment channel cannot process the refund, you may contact ReelJoy to negotiate alternative refund methods.
Chapter 7: Content Subscriptions
Section 1 – Subscription Period
ReelJoy provides subscriptionbased viewing services for content.
For paid ondemand content, the subscription period is one month, calculated from the date of successful payment.
ReelJoy only guarantees that you can access the relevant content during the validity period. If you are unable to continue accessing the content after the subscription period expires, the Platform shall not be liable.
Section 2 – Subscription Orders and Refunds
Once payment for a content subscription order is completed, it constitutes a final transaction and may not be modified by you.
Unless ReelJoy expressly agrees otherwise, subscription fees are nonrefundable.
The above nonrefundability rule remains applicable even in the following circumstances:
Suspension of Platform services;
Termination of Platform services;
Removal of the content you purchased or subscribed to from the Platform.
Chapter 8: Recharge and Virtual Currency
Section 1 – Use of Virtual Currency
Some products on the Platform must be purchased using virtual currency.
Different products may correspond to different types of virtual currency, and you shall use the currency required for the specific product to complete the purchase.
Section 2 – Prohibition of UsertoUser Transactions
Users may not privately trade Platform virtual currency with other users through ReelJoy
Such conduct constitutes a violation of this Agreement. ReelJoy has the right, without prior notice, to take necessary measures to stop or restrict such transactions.
Section 3 – Confirmation of Recharge Transactions
Recharge transactions, once completed, may not be arbitrarily revoked or modified.
Before recharging, you shall carefully verify your account, order, amount, and other relevant information.
ReelJoy shall not be liable for losses caused by the following userrelated reasons:
Operational errors;
Selection or entry of an incorrect account;
Misunderstanding of fee standards or recharge rules;
Other issues arising from the user’s own operations.
Section 4 – ThirdParty Payments
When you complete recharge or payment through thirdparty payment services, you shall also comply with the terms of service of that thirdparty payment platform.
You shall properly keep your personal information, account details, and financial information.
Disputes arising from thirdparty payment services shall be handled by the relevant parties in accordance with the thirdparty service rules, and ReelJoy shall not be liable.
Section 5 – Compensation Restrictions for NonCompliant Accounts
If your account is frozen or terminated due to a violation of this Agreement, you may not demand compensation from ReelJoy for any balance, virtual currency, or other related rights in the account.
Section 6 – Amount Discrepancies Due to System Faults
If, due to a Platform fault, the amount you actually paid differs from the amount actually received or recorded by ReelJoy, and if the relevant data can be restored and you are able to provide valid proof, the Platform will verify and rectify the discrepancy.
The specific handling methods are as follows:
If the amount actually received by the Platform is less than the amount you paid, ReelJoy will make up the difference;
If the amount actually received by the Platform exceeds the amount you paid, ReelJoy has the right to recover the excess amount.
Chapter 9: ThirdParty Products and Services
Section 1 – Allocation of Liability
ReelJoy and the relevant third parties shall, in accordance with applicable laws and their respective agreements, independently bear their own obligations.
Disputes arising from their respective products or services shall also be handled by ReelJoy and the third party within their respective scopes of responsibility.
Chapter 10: Scope of Platform Use and Intellectual Property
Section 1 – Personal and NonCommercial Use
Unless otherwise agreed with ReelJoy, the Platform services may only be used for personal and noncommercial purposes.
Section 2 – Authorised Access Methods
You may only access the Platform services through channels, programs, and methods provided or expressly permitted by ReelJoy
The right to use granted to you under this Agreement is not transferable.
Section 3 – Ownership of Platform Content
The copyrights, trademark rights, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights relating to the services of ReelJoy belong to ReelJoy or its licensors, and are protected by law throughout the world. Without the lawful authorisation of ReelJoy or the relevant rights holders, you may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, or otherwise use the aforesaid content.
Chapter 11: User Content and ThirdParty Complaints
Section 1 – Liability for User Content
You are responsible for all content that you send, upload, post, store, or transmit through the Platform.
Section 2 – Source Requirements for Content
The content you provide must have a lawful source and shall satisfy at least one of the following conditions:
You own the content and the corresponding rights;
You have obtained effective authorisation from the rights holder.
Section 3 – Platform’s Use of User Content
You agree that ReelJoy may use the content you submit to the extent necessary for performing this Agreement or providing services to you.
Section 4 – Complaints by Rights Holders
If ReelJoy receives a notice from a rights holder alleging that the content you post or transmit infringes upon its lawful rights, the Platform may, in its sole discretion:
Delete the relevant content;
Block the relevant content;
Disconnect or cease displaying the relevant content.
Chapter 12: Prohibited Conduct and Local Compliance Requirements
Section 1 – Users Shall Comply with the Law
When using ReelJoy, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and may not engage in illegal activities through the Platform.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
Publishing, transmitting, disseminating, or storing content that endangers national security, national unity, social stability, public order, or social morality;
Publishing insulting, defamatory, pornographic, violent, or otherwise illegal content;
Publishing content that infringes upon others’ intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or other lawful rights;
Maliciously fabricating facts or concealing the truth to mislead or deceive others;
Publishing, transmitting, or disseminating advertising information or spam;
Engaging in other conduct prohibited by law.
Section 2 – Local Laws and Customs
You shall also comply with the laws and regulations of the locality where you use the services, and respect local customs.
All consequences arising from violation of local regulations shall be borne by you alone.
Section 3 – Political Activities and Public Events
You may not use the services of ReelJoy to involve the Platform in political activities, political events, or public events.
If such conduct occurs, ReelJoy has the right to suspend or terminate your access.
Violation of local compliance requirements or involving the Platform in political or public events constitutes a material breach.
The Platform may terminate or suspend the relevant services and retain the fees already paid by the user as liquidated damages; if the Platform’s actual losses exceed that amount, it still has the right to take further legal measures.
Chapter 13: Detection of Violations and Platform Actions
Section 1 – Compensation to Third Parties and the Platform
If your violation causes damage to a third party, you shall independently bear full liability.
If ReelJoy suffers losses as a result of your violation, you shall also compensate the Platform for the relevant losses.
All violations described in this Chapter constitute material breaches. ReelJoy may retain the fees already paid by the user as liquidated damages.
If the retained amount is insufficient to cover the Platform’s losses, ReelJoy retains the right to pursue further legal liability.
Chapter 14: Rules for Minors’ Use
Section 1 – Guidelines for Minors’ Internet Use
Users under the age of 18 are minors and shall read this Agreement and use the services of ReelJoy under the supervision and guidance of their legal guardians.
When using the internet, minors should pay special attention to:
Correctly understanding the difference between the online world and real life, and preventing internet addiction from affecting normal study and life;
Making every effort to protect their personal information;
Using the internet reasonably under the guidance of guardians;
Staying away from unfamiliar or illegal online activities.
Section 2 – Responsibility of Guardians
Guardians shall supervise the use of ReelJoy services by minors.
ReelJoy recommends that parents guide their minor children to identify and avoid online risks.
If a parent or guardian believes that a minor child needs to use the Platform, especially a child under the age of 10, the guardian may register an account using their own identity and independently determine whether the relevant services are suitable for that minor.
Chapter 15: Agreement Updates and Legal Matters
Section 1 – Effectiveness of the Agreement
Your access to or use of ReelJoy’s software, products, or services constitutes your consent to be bound by this Agreement.
Section 2 – Amendment of the Agreement
ReelJoy may amend this Agreement according to actual needs.
The latest amended version will be published on the relevant service pages.
After the new version takes effect, if you continue to use the Platform software or services, you are deemed to have accepted the updated Agreement.
If you do not agree to the updated content, you should stop using the services of ReelJoy
Section 3 – Headings and Partial Validity
The chapter and section headings in this Agreement are provided for convenience of reading only and do not affect the interpretation of the specific content.
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be effective.
